Keeping it Simple #FamilyLife

Over the past few months, the concepts of stripping back the superfluous, simplifying and pulling apart the true meaning of integrity have been strong personal themes. For many people, there’s a drive to again inspect old patterns that continue to run happily in the background despite years of self-examination. Perhaps under the direction of a new global energy, there’s a sense of being able to lovingly let go of those things that have served us all well on one level, yet have offered excuses to stay small on another.

I came across Don Miguel Ruiz’ “The Four Agreements” the other day and it strongly resonated with this desire to pare back; to simplify; to become more real as a participant in this world and begin operating in a more authentic way.

With these 4 simple tenets, we could literally change the way we as humans operate in this world. How do they resonate with you? Please feel free to share your thoughts, we’d love to hear from you.

1. Be Impeccable with your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions: Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret. ~ Don Miguel Ruiz

Filipinos are very eager to change the bad side of reality in which most poverty-stricken provinces struggling to recover. Election 2016 is fast approaching that Filipinos wants the elected President could show more solutions to the existing problems of all Filipinos especially under the poverty line.

In order to find any solution, one must know the problems facing our country today. The Heavy Traffic, Trash, Corruption, Flooding every time there is rain, High crime rates, Drugs, Poverty as seen in the squatter areas, Too much politics, Pollution and Poor healthcare, and the uplifting of Philippine economy.

One of the candidate as President for the coming election is Mar Roxas. He has the complete package of being the most intelligent and knowledgeable person willing and interested to put forward the Philippines in the future.

Being the administration’s standard-bearer, Mar Roxas’ platform of government for 2016 presidential elections will be a platform of ‘continuity’. Continuity will be the cornerstone of the Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer’s campaign, banking on the purported gains of the Aquino Administration’s centerpiece governance agenda of “Daang Matuwid” (Straight Path).

Liberal Party is the ruling party; Manuel Araneta Roxas has the edge when it comes in improving the Philippine economy. He wants to weld the government policies influenced by well-connected private interest to a leadership that execute all the laws of the land with impartiality and decisiveness. The treatment of rural economy as just a source of problems to recognizing farms and rural enterprises as vital to achieving food security and more equitable economic growth, worthy of re-investment for sustained productivity.

These alone could really spearhead the facets of Philippine economy in which Filipinos have more to gain in leadership in running the laws for the Philippines improvement and empowerment. From government anti-poverty programs that instill a dole-out mentality to well-considered programs that build capacity and create opportunity among the poor and the marginalized in the country. A government that dampens private initiative and enterprise to a government that creates conditions conducive to the growth and competitiveness of private businesses, big, medium and small.

Another point in Mar Roxas highly adaptable thinking for economic is a government that treats its people as an export commodity and a means to earn foreign exchange, disregarding the social cost to Filipino families to a government that creates jobs at home, so that working abroad will be a choice rather than a necessity; and when its citizens do choose to become OFWs, their welfare and protection will still be the government’s priority.

Mar Roxas platform in uplifting the Philippine economy could really give positive results for all Filipinos and the continuing development that will be given to the standard living condition of Filipinos. It’s likewise the starting point for the Philippines to grow locally and internationally as a means of image improvement.
